Product Description
AV Switch Status At-a-Glance
Easy-to-read Front-panel LEDs
You are clued into exactly what's going on with your devices. Port activity and status LEDs appear on the line above the port number. PoE Power LEDs appear below it. You can easily see which ports are connected/active and which are receiving power. The included Powered Device Monitor (PDM) function helps keep your connected devices working. The switch monitors them, and if any fails to respond to or send out network traffic, it will shut off power to the device and then resupply it to try and get it back online. This reboot often gets “down†devices back up.
- Front-panel LEDs
- Status/activity LEDs above the port number
- PoE power LEDs below the port number
- PDM function helps get offline devices back online
AV Switch Ports
Sixteen (16) Rear-panel RJ45 ports keep the front of the switch neat and tidy. Average power per port is 15.9 W. Compatible devices can receive up to 30 W until the 255 W power budget is spent. Two SFP ports offer ways to uplink the switch to another, add fiber connections, or do both. A standard RJ45 to DB9 cable lets you configure the switch via computer.
Console Port
This switch offers a console port so you can configure its settings via computer using an RJ45 to DB9 cable.
Excellent Cooling
This switch uses perfectly placed ventilation slots and fans to keep the switch cool, so your devices always have a great connection to the network.
Power Options
This AV switch includes a detachable three-prong power cord that makes it easy to transport or store the switch. Its on/off switch lets you quickly and easily shut down power to the switch and all devices if you need to.
